South Korea’s best female vocal group, Big Mama, has returned as a full group after 9 years.
Debuting in 2003, Big Mama is a quartet composed of Park Min-hye, Shin Yeon-ah, Lee Young-hyun, and Lee Ji-young. They immediately gained popularity with their soulful voices, overwhelming singing abilities, and perfect harmonies.
Their new song, “One Day More”, is an R&B ballad that fully retains the emotional depth of Big Mama. It was produced by Aim Strings (AIMING), who have created numerous hits for artists like MC the Max, Lim Chang-jung, Monday Kiz, and Noel.
The song, with its poignant lyrics of longing for a departed lover - ‘Just one day more, I’ll love you’ - showcases Big Mama’s enriched emotions and matured vocal skills. The introduction of a vintage electric piano, along with the emotional and rich string arrangement by Aim Strings, further accentuates the deep sentiment of a traditional R&B ballad.
With their return as a full group after 9 years, Big Mama is expected to reaffirm their status as the top vocal group through “One Day More.”
