Vocal ‘Darae’ is a former member and leader of ‘Gavy NJ’, possessing a beautiful, charming tone and explosive singing ability that captures the ears of listeners. She is also the voice behind numerous hit songs such as ‘Came to Sinchon’, ‘Love Novel’, and ‘Ex-Girlfriend’.
It’s impossible not to look forward to her steps as ‘Darae’, not ‘Jenny’, marking her first start under this name.
Her first digital single ‘To My Movie’ was composed and arranged by Kim Subin, the main producer of AIMING MUSIC, which has produced numerous hits for artists like MC The Max, Gummy, Big Mama, Monday Kiz, Noel, Shin Yong Jae, Ben, Punch, MeloMance, V.O.S, N.Flying, Baekhyun, and more. The orchestration was handled by Korea’s top string ensemble, Aim Strings, and the lyrics, co-written by hit lyricist ‘Min Yeonjae’ and ‘Darae’, encapsulate her journey. It’s a song where one can fully feel ‘Darae’s’ voice, singing explosively yet calmly about everyone’s unique love, memories, and stories.
The song evokes deep emotions with its lyrics, interpreting the nostalgic feeling for ’the past me’ while looking forward to tomorrow with excitement and gratitude, blended with splendid guitar and warm orchestration sound.
‘To My Movie’, a new song that promises to deliver the best vocals to listeners once again as ‘Darae’, returning to her real name from Gavy NJ’s ‘Jenny’.
