tvN Monday-Tuesday drama ‘The Liar and His Lover’ released OST Part 6 featuring “Counting Stars at Night” and “Yesterday Today Tomorrow” sung by Hong Seo Young.
The title track “Counting Stars at Night” is a song that Han Kyul (Lee Hyun Woo) created for Yoon-ah (Hong Seo Young) in the drama. Upon release, it immediately topped the charts and gave Yoon-ah a second prime, earning So Rim’s (Joy) jealousy. This is a slow tempo track that creates a distant feeling through the harmony of warm acoustic guitar sounds and string performances. The lyrical lyrics about longing for memories with a loved one, combined with Hong Seo Young’s sweet and pure voice, stimulates spring day emotions.
Additionally, the B-side track “Yesterday Today Tomorrow” is a song containing the sadness of someone who misses a departed lover, representing the heart of Chae Yoon-ah (Hong Seo Young) who once again longs for her ex-lover Kang Han Kyul (Lee Hyun Woo) in the drama.
