The OST for the work [Killer Peter], which is gathering global fans’ expectations through the collaboration of Kim Jeong-hyun, the author of the best action webtoon on Naver Webtoon [Fight Alone], and Lim Ri-na, the author of [White Blood], is being released. ‘BLASÉ’, a rapper who participated in the OST, adds tension to the webtoon with powerful rapping and sharp diction, foreshadowing the more powerful performance of the protagonist. ‘BLASÉ’, after reaching the finals of Show Me the Money 11 in 2022, has continued his musical journey by participating in various projects with GroovyRoom’s Atairia.
In the webtoon ‘Killer Peter’ OST ‘I’M BACK’, he participated in the lyrics writing, showcasing BLASÉ’s unique ‘Drill’ style. The song has been inserted from the first episode of the webtoon, adding action-packed sound and enhancing the immersion into the story’s grandeur, receiving much attention from fans. The exhilarating sound delivered by BLASÉ meets the enchanting action of Kim Jeong-hyun and Lim Ri-na in ‘Killer Peter’, captivating both the eyes and ears of the listeners.
‘I’M BACK’ is a trap genre song with ‘BLASÉ’s aggressive tone and sharp flow, based on the suspenseful orchestral string line leading the narrative of a large-scale work. ‘BLASÉ’ personally wrote the lyrics, adding to the intensity of the rap, and the song features a tension-filled staccato string line reminiscent of a cinematic soundtrack, a powerful drum groove in the chorus, and a heavy metal-style guitar riff by guitarist YOUNG (Jung Jae-pil).
