Produced by the team ‘Tom and Jerry’, who have been in perfect sync with songs like ‘On a Snowy Day, The Day We Broke Up’, ‘You’, ‘When a Man Loves’, the title track ‘Why Do You’ shows the unspoken signs of breakup and cooled emotions, realistically written by composer and lyricist ‘Yongmin Lee’.
As the chorus ‘Why don’t you miss me?’ suggests, it expresses the ‘silent pain’ of desperation and the man’s sadness and fragility, crumbling under the weight of an impending breakup that he cannot dare to initiate.
Moreover, the regret and longing that grow with the increasing pain of separation are desperately unfolded in the track ‘I’m Sorry’, as evident before and after the breakup.
