The MBC daily drama ‘Meant to Be’ portrays a story where a father’s misguided desires lead to a tragedy, turning a father and daughter into enemies, who eventually realize the love of destiny.
OST Part.3 [Cherished And Painful Words] is a song longing for a lost love, starting with a lyrical piano melody and strings, warming our ears with ONE.K’s tender voice. It becomes more emotionally powerful in the latter half with explosive singing and composition.

The lyrics are impressive, expressing the longing and regret for someone who left because the words “I love you” were held back too much.
Right now, in love, the message is not to hold back saying “I love you” to the precious people who come to mind.
The song, though about a longing lover, carries ONE.K’s heart, wishing everyone to express their love frequently to their closest family, lovers, and friends.

Warm in emotion and with a deep baritone voice, ONE.K has shown diverse talents in OSTs like [Red Shoes] and [Witch’s Game], especially [Cherished And Painful Words] being his second original composition following the KBS2 drama [Red Shoes].
‘Meant to Be’ OST Part.3 ‘Cherished And Painful Words’ is a work that has greatly enhanced the harmony of music and video, a collaboration between director Kim Jin-hyung and music director Masangwoo, who perfectly grasped the drama’s flow. Music director Masangwoo, known for composing various music in works like [Owl], [Confidential Assignment 1,2], [My Name], [Wonder Woman], [The Second Husband], has elevated the musical quality through collaboration with ONE.K.
