SeeYa - Stay
Album Introduction#
The 20th anniversary commemorative album and first full-length album in 15 years [First, Again] by SeeYa, the representative female vocal group of South Korea.
“A new beginning for SeeYa, facing each other again after 15 years of time.
With the initial excitement and sincerity, we start our song once again.”
“Going beyond the limits of a vocal group, this album contains a wide genre spectrum from electronic dance to rock, acoustic, and pop, serving as a dazzling blueprint for the musical journey SeeYa will newly write.”
“We have captured the first page of SeeYa’s new beginning in this album.”
SeeYa is releasing a full-length album filled with a colorful variety of 11 tracks, including the pre-release song ‘Even So, We’, which was released on the 30th to celebrate their 20th anniversary. For this album, hit composers who shared SeeYa’s golden age, such as composer Park Keun-tae and composer Kim Do-hoon, participated in the production to enhance the completeness of the sound quality. In addition, the three members Nam Gyu-ri, Kim Yeon-ji, and Lee Bo-ram directly participated in writing lyrics and composing, showing a more mature side as artists. Furthermore, while featuring songs that showcase their deep emotion and highly appealing voices that no one can replicate, alongside the medium-tempo ballads that come to mind when thinking of ‘SeeYa’, they selected the trendy chill house genre dance track ‘Stay’ as the title track, demonstrating their willingness to challenge new genres and expand their potential as artists.
