Album Introduction
#

Ballad queen Zia has returned with “Please Don’t Stay Away,” a song that touches breakup emotions.
Zia’s “Please Don’t Stay Away” is a remake of the original song of the same title, which was the title track of Jang Hye Jin’s 7th full album released in 2006, reinterpreted with Zia’s own emotion after 19 years.

As a medium-tempo song loved in the early 2000s, “Please Don’t Stay Away” recreates the original’s deeply appealing and sorrowful emotion through Zia’s delicate yet explosive vocals, creating intense immersion. It has been reborn as a song that feels fresh to younger listeners while awakening memories for older generations.

In particular, this new song was elevated in quality by producer team AIMING, known for many hit remake songs such as Lee Changsub’s “Heavenly Fate” and Kim Minseok’s “Drunken Confession,” and for working across genres including K-POP idol tracks by TWICE, Red Velvet’s Joy, and N.Flying.

Yes, even if you leave someone like me,
I won’t hate you for leaving.
Even if you say we’re done and that you’ve grown tired,
I’ll still be okay.

Saying you’ll go find another love now,
to you who pushes me away,
I ask only this one thing, just one,
I’ll leave these words to your fading back.

Let’s never run into each other again,
let’s never give our hearts again.
The places we used to go, where our feet were drawn,
don’t be in any of them.

Even if we meet once, like an accident,
let’s not fall in love a second time.
After losing you, living like death,
I don’t want you to see me that way.

I know, someone like you in my cramped heart,
you overflow beyond what I can hold.
Even if I try to stop it with my small two hands,
I guess I could never keep you contained.

When enough time piles up, maybe then I can forget.
This sad heart living with a painful farewell
may finally be able to hate you.

Even if I’m lonely and want to see you,
even if I miss you and want to find you.

I want to run into you, I want to give you my heart,
that’s what my heart keeps saying.
