Arrival of the Monitoring Headphones DT-880

The Beyerdynamic DT880 headphones have arrived.
As I felt when I auditioned them before, they are really great..

They tease the ears with an unembellished, realistic sound, and I’m surprised how much these acoustic elements affect the enjoyment of music.
The balance is so excellent that it feels like there’s no disconnect from listening to a live performance. It’s like sitting right in front of the performers and vocalists, immersed in the experience.

The clarity and sense of space that were lacking with Sony’s CD900ST are so vividly present.
I distinctly realized that the tracks I’ve mixed until now were a mess. Now, I feel more confident about handling the sound aspects.
